What Can I Expect When I Come

Everyone has questions.
Here are some we answer most often.

How will I know where to go Sunday morning?

Our entrance under the green awning is called the “Welcome Center Hallway”. You’ll find a hot cup of coffee, information about our church and a friendly face to direct you.

How will I meet people?

Every Sunday morning we have Sunday School small groups from 9:15—10:15 AM. There are groups for every age from babies thru seniors including an Adult class for those who speak Spanish. Small groups are a great place to meet new friends. Also, when you attend a worship service, expect someone to shake your hand and introduce themselves.

What is worship like?

We have both a morning and evening worship service on Sundays. The music in our worship is somewhat traditional with choruses blended in. Our pastor teaches from the Bible using topical illustrations with a conversational style.

Kids age 4 thru 5th grade enjoy their own high-energy worship time called “Worship KidStyle.”

Do I have to dress up to fit in?

Nope. Some folks dress up. Some are casual. You’ll fit right in if you come as you are.

How many people attend?

On Sunday mornings, around 200 people are in worship together.

Is there a nursery?

Yes. We have a nursery staffed with volunteers during Sunday School, worship services and Wednesday night programs. The nursery is located near the Welcome Center Hallway.

What do you offer for kids?

On Wednesday nights when school is in session, children participate in choir and “Bible Skills, Drills and Thrills,” an exciting adventure through the Bible. Preschoolers have “Team Kid” and their own choir on Wednesdays. Other children’s activities are planned during the year.

During the regular school year, our Mother’s Day Out Ministry is provided on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What do you offer for youth?

Our church has an active group of youth (6th thru 12th grade) with many opportunities for fun and spiritual development. There are specially designed small groups at 9:15 each Sunday morning and on Wednesdays there is “Wednesday Night Live” at 6:00 PM. Youth also participate in special retreats, conferences, monthly activities, summer programs and mission projects.
